Long Stretch

Movement:

Shoulder extension & flexion.

Benefits of this movement:

  • Increase shoulder & Core stability.

  • Strengthen Abs

  • Activate the core muscles while executing the movement

  • Neutral spine.

Progressions:

  • lighter springs

  • feet to shoulder blocks

  • feet on top of shoulder blocks

  • single leg lift or knee tuck

  • hold full extension

Regression:

  • step feet fwd

  • knees down (down stretch)

Spring Tensions:

Fundamental: not a fundamental exercise.

Intermediate: 1R / 1RY / 1RB
